Your Advantage in Home Health Care

Home Health Advantage assists patients who have had a recent illness or injury and provides care in your home. We are a full-service, home health agency with highly skilled clinicians who can manage infusion, wound vacs, and complex care, which is our specialty. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive assessment and initiate all the disciplines needed to assist you in living independently with high functionality, for as long as possible, in your own home. Home health care may include nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, home health aide, and social work. Medicare covers 100% of the cost with no copay. Insurances also pay for home health care. However, each plan is different and will require verification, precertification, and authorization. Once we have an order from your physician, we will verify insurance and contact you to schedule an evaluation. During your initial evaluation, we will explain home health services and what is covered as part of your insurance plan. We will also coordinate with your physician on which disciplines are needed, how often care will be provided, and for how long. Every 30 days, we will provide an update to your physician and insurance company regarding your progress and the continuation of care or, if goals are met, when you are ready for discharge from services.
